Meet James and the Guests
Here's exactly what happens
James · Host Receives a new booking
A guest books Friday 3pm to Sunday 11am. James gets the notification and opens the Buckko Locks app to set up access.
James · Host Creates a timed passcode
In the app, James goes to Passcodes → Add Passcode → Timed. He sets it valid from Friday 3:00pm to Sunday 11:00am. The app generates code: 362 814
James · Host Sends check-in instructions
James sends the guest a message via Airbnb with their unique door code, the property address, and check-in instructions. No physical key exchange needed.
Guest Arrives Friday evening — self check-in
The guest arrives at 6:30pm, types 362814 on the keypad, and walks straight in. No waiting. No calls to the host. James is notified instantly.
Buckko Locks Tracks every entry and exit
James can see in the access log that the guest entered Friday at 6:30pm, went out Saturday morning, came back at 2pm, and so on — all without being there.
Guest Checks out Sunday morning
The guest leaves at 10:15am and pulls the door shut. The auto-lock secures the apartment. James gets a notification and knows the property is secured.
Buckko Locks Code expires at checkout time
At 11:00am Sunday the code automatically expires. If the guest tries the code again — lock rejects it. James creates a fresh code for the next guest.
